About

Our Mission: To empower volunteers to facilitate sustainable solutions in under resourced communities while fostering local cultures.

Who We Are: Global Medical Brigades is a secular, international network of student-run medical volunteer organizations that travel to developing countries to promote medical sustainability and provide free health care in communities without access to medicine otherwise. UCSD is one of the very first colleges in the U.S. to establish a Global Medical Brigade.

Where We Go: Here at UCSD, we focus on Honduras, where we provide sustainable health care to over 124 communities and have provided aid to more than 57,000 patients in 2009.
